This is a painting I did a few years ago and it is one of my favorites. I like the mix of colors and I think I found a good balance between the figures and background.  It was a finalist for the Hunting Art Prize in Houston.

Goats!

I painted this a few months ago after visiting a local ranch, which is home to dozens of goats.  They are fascinating characters!


I also did a very large version, 36" x 36"-- I had this very dramatic image of them in my head and loved working in this larger scale!

This painting is a very recent one, that is now showing at Lafontsee Galleries in Grand Rapids, MI.

The title comes from Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? I just thought of the green/orange/blue colors as electric, a surreal landscape for these guys.
